Erin Barnes – Erin loves being a part of Bella Voce Cabaret, and being able to perform with such an incredible cast. She came to Bella Voce from Bravo! Ristorante, where she was a Singing Server for more than four years. Her musical theatre training began at the University of Northern Colorado, where she studied acting and performed in such shows as “Cabaret” and Edward Albee’s “Finding the Sun”. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from Jacksonville University (JU), where she graduated summa cum laude and earned the Dean’s Choice Award for Excellence in Music. She also won honors at JU for participation in musical theatre and chorus. A highlight of her time there was performing the role of Cathy in an all new musical adaptation of “Wuthering Heights”.  Erin has also been seen in various performances around the First Coast. She was a Cast Member in

the touring production of Gene Nordan’s “The Piano Bar”, and appeared at Players by the Sea community theatre in their productions of “Side by Side by Sondheim” and “He Was a Stranger”, an original musical by Deborah Lucas. She also participated in the last three “Spring Fling” fundraisers at that theatre. As the Artist formerly known as Erin Brehm, Erin will always treasure her leading role as wife to Bella Voce Cast Member Matt Barnes and mother to sons Ethan and Cason. Currently, Erin spends much of her time teaching. As both a piano and voice teacher to children and adults all over the Jacksonville area, Erin enjoys the chance to share her love of music and performing with future generations of actors and singers.
